DHI Receives Top Honors

December 20, 2007 — DHI, a Vero Beach-based advertising and design firm, was recently honored with five 2007 American Graphic Design Awards by Graphic Design USA magazine, a 40 year old, monthly business-to-business magazine for professional graphic designers and related creative and production professionals. The annual competition, open to all segments of the creative community, is over three decades old and receives over 10,000 entries nationwide. The award winners represent the best and brightest in graphic design.

Included in the honors are strategic marketing materials created by DHI for five south Florida clients including: brand-building logos for The Environmental Learning Center’s 2007 “Black Thai” gala, Vero Beach Hotel & Club and Senior Resource Association; and brochures for PiperJet and Surgical Outcome Support.

"Although achieving recognition by industry peers is gratifying, we take greater pride in the fact that these marketing materials, which were created for our clients as part of a strategic marketing plan, have helped them achieve their goals," explains Carl Miller, President. "Our staff of 15 full-time specialists work as a cohesive team to help our clients create positive change, build brand loyalty, change perceptions, inspire action and move products."

DHI also received highest honors at the 2007 Addy Awards competition, sponsored by the Advertising Federation of the Treasure Coast, including Best of Show Award and Judge’s Award. The Best of Show Award was presented for a brochure that was created for The Ranch, a 4,000 acre 200 home development for wranglers that desire all of the amenities associated with fine living in an equestrian atmosphere. The Judge’s Award recognized DHI’s execution of their website at www.DHI.com. Additionally, Gold Awards recognized outstanding work for Reflections on the River brochure, PiperJet print advertising, and DHI’s corporate capabilities brochure. Silver Awards were bestowed on Abercrombie & Kent’s "Celebrations" brochure and the Turtle Trax Commemorative Book created for The Mental Health Association of Indian River County.
