Carl Miller Receives Recognition from
Indian River County Chamber of Commerce
January 28, 2008 —Carl Miller, President of DHI, a Vero Beach-based advertising and design firm, was recently honored as Director of the Year and for his nine years of service on the board of directors by the Indian River County Chamber of Commerce at the 2007 Annual Meeting.
Penny Chandler, President of the Indian River County Chamber of Commerce, presented the award to Mr. Miller citing, “Over the years that Carl has served on the Chamber board, the Chamber has many times asked and received professional marketing or media advice. Sometimes with very short notice. Carl has also made his staff available as Chamber volunteers providing their expertise and support to help us with projects such as the Chamber’s 100 Year’s of Commerce video produced in 1999, a situation analysis of the Chamber and the Chamber’s first comprehensive communication plan. Carl’s knowledge and advice over the years has been an enormous asset to our Chamber’s growth and reputation as one of the best chambers in Florida.”
